May 19 from 10 am to 2 pm

Description

Basic Training is a 2-day, nuts and bolts course on Collaborative law, including forms, applicable NC statutes, hands-on practice, theory, practical application, psycho-social considerations and ethical concerns.  The course meets the standards set by IACP, the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.  It is designed for family lawyers, but applicable to all attorneys.  Considering shifting or expanding the nature of your law practice?  Expect to be inspired!

Advanced Training is designed for attorneys who have completed a basic Collaborative law course, who want to deepen and strengthen their understanding and skills.  Included in the agenda:  trouble shooting challenging situations, what to do when Collaborative cases feel adversarial, best practice strategies, a language of Collaboration, open discussion for your questions, marketing your Collaborative practice.
