Marty Price, J. D. is a mediator with 30 years experience working with families, children and youth, mediating diverse conflicts and training mediators in many states and countries. Marty was the founder of the first holistic family law and mediation practice in the Midwest, in 1980. He was the co-founder of the Michigan Mediation Association, which was formed to provide family mediation using co-mediation teams consisting of an attorney-mediator and a therapist-mediator.

Marty is also well known nationally and internationally in the field of restorative justice, juvenile justice and victim-offender mediation, for his healing work with victims of severely violent crimes and their perpetrators (see www.vorp.com).

Drawing upon his experience as a lawyer, mediator, social worker and teacher, Marty has been a pioneer in promoting law as a healing profession.
