Sheila Saunders is licensed as a Registered Nurse and as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and holds Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Homeopathic Medicine. She has worked in the psychiatric field for 28 years, providing group therapy at the former John Bradshaw National Treatment Center in Los Angeles, working in child and adolescent residential treatment, psychiatric hospitals (geriatric, adult, adolescent, child, chemical dependency), in Superior Court’s Family Court Services and most recently at Copestone Child and Adolescent Treatment Program at Mission Hospitals in Asheville, NC. In these varied venues, Sheila has worked as a counselor, therapist, nurse, mediator and teacher. She has in recent years trained in Systemic Family Constellations, a unique process for addressing both acute and chronic problems, with Bert Hellinger (founder of the work) as well as with the most experienced international teachers and facilitators.
Sheila works with children, teens and adults on issues related to divorce, parenting, physical or mental illness, addiction, reconciliation, trauma and obstacles to personal or professional satisfaction.
